We have a monarch who is supposed to exercise reserve powers independently to protect Her People if needed when Her Government goes full on Pol Pot, and Parliament fails to do its job, but since she has failed in that duty up until now it is unlikely she will step up this time - too busy writing another trite, anodyne speech to patronise us on Christmas Day.

James McAuley wrote: ‘Valediction: Roy Campbell’
He stood against the leveling stampede
And cracked the stockman’s whip of his polemic;
He never left his friends or slurred his creed
In times when cowardice grew epidemic.
Action he loved, and honour, and the life
Of simple men before machines were master.
He gave a pure devotion to his wife,
And said his rosary amidst disaster.
Contemptuous of the babble of his time,
He loved the Muses with a noble passion,
Catching a golden splendour in his rhyme
When rhyme and splendour both were out of fashion.
Who now shall bring back from our wars a song,
Like Heracles returning with a trophy?
May Christ who calls the singer from the throng
Give stars and music to his heavenly strophe.

The world record for the deadlift in the 148-pound weight class is just over 700 pounds, whereas the world record for the 308-pound weight class is 939 pounds. Doubling the weight class does not double how much a man can deadlift; it only increases the amount by about 30 percent. That is a dangerous tradeoff because large muscles require more oxygen to function, and if you are working so hard that you cannot replace that oxygen fast enough, you will go into oxygen debt.

Optimists look at adversity as temporary, external and not entirely their fault.
Pessimists view adversity as unchangeable, pervasive and personal.
Negative bias - when you're negative your brain goes in to fight-or-flight mode, thinking that there could be an emergency, and that slows everything down, from creativity to your immune system."

Tough love is loving, but enabling is not.
Now there are two schools of thought on this topic so to be fair, I’ll present them both and let you decide for yourself (though my stance is made clear in the subtitle of this section).
It all boils down to how you see love, which likely has to do with how you were made to feel loved.
Enabling:
You stand by the person no matter what, because you care too much to see them suffer needlessly. Why add to their problems? You lend them a bit of money, or give them a place to stay, or ignore the fight you had the other night because it’s not a big deal and you care about them. Why start a fight?
Even when they’re having a rough go, you stand by them — through thick and thin. You lift them up, remind them of their worth, and tell them how much you want them to get/do better, because that’s what you do when you love someone. You never abandon them, no matter what.
Tough Love:
You make it clear you care for them but do not agree with their behavior. When they repeatedly disrespect your boundaries, you cut them off financially or tell them to find a new place to stay. You address their inappropriate actions, no matter how uncomfortable it makes them (or you) feel.
You know life has been tough for them lately, but you also know that life won’t get any easier if things don’t change. You realize that all the chaos that’s ensuing in their life is a result of their choices and that only by taking responsibility for these choices will the person begin to see their part.
You also acknowledge that some people, especially those who are needy or in the active spin of addiction, will likely try anything to get you to enable them. This includes lying. Just because you love them, doesn’t mean you have to believe them (or pretend to).

Having said all this in various outlets, I knew thanks to my membership of Kate’s friendship group that none of it addresses women’s fear or their desire to be safe. It’s not just getting murdered that women fear. They fear being raped. Men make them feel uncomfortable. Men yell at women as they drive past, or follow them as they walk home, catcalling, whistling, yahooing.
In one interview, I fell back on research done by evolutionary biologists and psychiatrists indicating that women as a class are at the sharp end of a wider problem. That is, a significant minority of men (as many as a third of young men, remembering peak criminality occurs between the ages of 15 and 30) engage in overt behaviour falling short of the criminal threshold that is nonetheless intended to establish dominance over those with whom they interact, particularly in public places.
It’s directed against people who are perceived as weaker, so many men and a majority of women. It’s a form of behaviour that was nearly universal and was also once adaptive. It’s a reminder that we’re still the same homo sapiens we were 100,000 years ago and we’ll be waiting a long time before things change. In the modern world, it’s maladaptive for society in general, women in particular, and arguably the men themselves: masculinity of that type and the behaviour that goes with it is essentially useless. In developed countries, those men are landed with criminal records or otherwise shoved back in their box, often in the form of lifelong unemployment and welfare dependency.
Meanwhile, women are afraid, because they cannot tell which cases will escalate, even if intellectually they know actual violence is rare. Facts may not care about your feelings, but feelings have better lobbyists. And, now, they (we) have two dead girls to which we (they) can point, two graves ringed round not only by quotidian fears, but with rocks, and stones, and trees.

The brand is often used as a source of comedy and an example of outdated fashion. In the film Shallow Hal, Mauricio (Jason Alexander) is insulted by Rosemary (Gwyneth Paltrow), who points out his Members Only jacket and says, "I guess you must be the last member."

Terrorism is rare, far rarer than many people think. It’s rare because very few people want to commit acts of terrorism, and executing a terrorist plot is much harder than television makes it appear. The best defences against terrorism are largely invisible: investigation, intelligence, and emergency response. But even these are less effective at keeping us safe than our social and political policies, both at home and abroad. However, our elected leaders don’t think this way: they are far more likely to implement security theater against movie-plot threats.

The antagonist in everyday life is the bully, chip-on-the-shoulder, bad attitude, disrespectful, assertive types that deserve to have their dads put a cigarette out on their chest.
You don't find those guys in prison - those guys do pretty good in life.
Usually find themselves in places of authority because they can force people to get jobs done - they get their kicks from belittling people. I don't see these people committing crimes past being physically abusive, so for the most part they aren't robbing banks etc and getting caught.
It's petty theives that get caught - goes to jail and finds it's mostly full of idiots like him.

You said it cannot ping the outside interface of the firewall but you
didn't specify what the actual "return" message was(See below). If it
can ping everything internally, then chances are there is a routing or
nat issue. Windows 10 firewall may block echo reply or something stupid
like that.
If your not using IPv6, try disabling that on the device
first(Stab in the dark). Next, I would verify the ip address, subnet
mask and gateway like 10 times. Try setting a static IP in the subnet
far away from the one it is currently using(trying to avoid acl's and
duplicates here). Otherwise, break out wireshark and do some
troubleshooting. I believe the SoUTM will allow packet captures on the
interfaces through the GUI, but I haven't used it in a while. Just need
to determine where the packets are getting dropped.
ICMP Error Message's
1.) TTL Expired in Transit <---Congestion on the network or other similar slow ass issue
2.) Destination Host Unreachable <----Not Going out
3.) Request Timed Out <----Not Coming Back
4.) Unknown Host <---No DNS resolution (N/A if ping by IP)
