Nonsense. The Euro is a prime example of central planning, something that was imposed top down by politicians. This sort of confusion permeates your article.

Free systems proceed by trial and error and even if the errors are sometimes painful, we are all better off over time. History is a better guide here than hysteria. If you want to eliminate this process, you will get a system where the same expensive errors are made, but never corrected.

No one today is deeper into our pockets than the state. No one abridges our rights more than the state. Certainly not Murdoch.

Don´t mix up free trade and free markets with corporatism and interventionism. And don´t blame them for the inevitable result when you get what you want.
